I said I own two revolvers, and a .22 rifle. I know how to operate them. I don't know too much about guns that I don't own.

I do find them interesting, and love to target practice with some of my friends guns. That doesn't mean that I know everything about them.

No, I'm sorry.....the thread should have been more defined......I know friends on the left and they are amazing with guns....and I should have re-worded the OP different....

Either way, we will see where this thread goes. I stand by my one of my postings in this thread, if it get's stupid, no matter who, your post will be removed.

Maybe not an insult, but the way people learn is to tell them they are wrong, and then show them the why they were wrong.

Conversly, I know a butt load of "conservatives" or people that vote Republican, who think they know about guns, but I've seen them shoot out their windshields because they didn't make sure it was unloaded before sitting in their trucks.

In my experience, when a person is well off enough to purchase nice guns, they generally know how to use them. But every now and then you see an idiot who suddenly got a "survival" streak in them, who try and go deer hunting and damn near blow their heads off while looking down the barrel of said gun.

I would like to see more education on the proper use, and storage of guns before people can buy them. But its likely that'll never happen.

Irresponsible gun owners make everyone look bad.
