Others are many things. You appear to have lost track of the point you were trying to make.

Graduated with honors on his own with such poor writing skills? I'm not buying it. Neither should you.

"Wroughts?" Really?

That is the single most ironic post you have written in hours.

He is our first and last affirmative action pResident.
Do you want to correct the grammar and punctuation in that paragraph for us and point out the mistakes? It's written in a more academic style vs. short and snappy prose, if that's what you're looking for. They don't teach you to write short stories in law school--you learn to write legal briefs, and to organize complicated information in a cohesive way. I'm not sure what the problem is that you have with his writing, outside of a few typos and grammar/punctuation errors in the full letter to the editor.

Of course you're not. It would be offensive to your prejudice.

No, it's up to the person making the claim to provide proof of their claims.

The defendant does not have to provide proof of their innocence. Innocent until proven guilty. And as it's been shown, there's never been any proof that has shown Obama to be guilty of any of this idiotic birther conspiracy crap.

Oh good lord--now you're being ridiculous. There's nothing wrong with his writing skills, and if punctuation and grammar were the skills that gave you top honors in law school, we'd be putting high school English teachers on the Supreme Court.

Two very minor grammatical errors, and one error that is debatable depending on the grammarian, in a lengthy letter (not an article--where the standards are more stringent).

I think you are demanding perfection not because you expect perfection but because being hyper-critical serves your bias and hatred and anger.

I think that's why you and others who share your perspective are always trying to claim that those on the left are similarly and uniformly hyper-critical. The truth is that the majority of people in this country, and even the majority of people who post on city-data, aren't hyper-critical. We aren't hyper-critical of Obama. We aren't hyper-critical of Romney. We aren't hyper-critical at all. We expect human beings to be flawed, to make mistakes, and our criticism doesn't reach screeching levels. We are perfectly reasonable in accepting the State of Hawaii's word that Obama was born in Hawaii and is therefore a natural-born American citizen. We aren't demanding that Romney release his college transcripts because we rationally understand that what he studied and what grades he earned would not be relevant to who he is today.

Transcripts you request from your college yourself so that you have copies to attach to job applications, etc. They're not sealed in an envelope and mailed (or electronically transferred) directly to the recipient by the college.

Official transcripts are sealed and mailed (or electronically transferred) only to the intended recipient. That gets quite costly for the colleges, students, (requires extra individual processing for each request) AND the employer (someone has to take the time to match the incoming transcripts to the respective applications).

For example...
Unofficial Transcript

Well Frank, I know Obama is a militant thug but this seems a bit of an exaggeration. Do you think he would be shooting with a 45 cal. Or perhaps an elephant gun? It could be in response to his original conception because I suspect his father shot into the womb with a squirrel gun.
