Happy Bush days are here again, huh? We are getting all excited because after almost four years of Obama's policies we have one week where the unemployed numbers match a week during the last year of the Bush presidency. The dems now look to Bush for the benchmarks of success.

Data Massaging Continues: Initial Claims Tumble To 339K Lowest Since 2008, Far Below Lowest Expectation | ZeroHedge

not even CNBC's Steve Liesman bothered defending it, or 339K.

Ironically, not even the Labor Department is defending it: it said that "one large state didn't report some quarterly figures."

Gee FB and the Dems and the President all said they couldn't do anything because the Repubs in Congress blocked them on every move.

So this great news you report all happened without any action by the Dems in Congress or the President.
How about that ?

ZeroHedge?

Glad to see your info is coming from a well known "reputable" source!

Maybe you can also find a few extremist "right wing" blogs to back up the above?

I seem to recall the argument was that the president couldn't do as much as should or could have been done, i.e. the stimulus wasn't big enough.
So, improvement was bound to come, the issue is whether it could have come sooner.

Anyway, more great news that clearly supports the lower overall UE rate released last week.
