What is amazing is how you have the time it takes to even worry about such a trivial thing.
You really should be directing this at the countless posters (mostly or all conservatives) who start those threads... like WHAT they buy has any effect on the overall welfare spending?
Nah... the Republicans have been whining & nosy about this issue since waaaaay before Obama. I wasn't born on this forum, so you're not fooling me.
A fifty year high in poverty, and 15 million people added into the Food Stamps program is not a joke pal. I don't know if you are trying to be cute, but people's lives are being ruined here, and this POS president is more concerned with floating billions to his green energy cronies then in helping to get people out of this four years of misery and hell. The proof is in the pudding, not in his fake words of concern.

Reason: language
I was at the store today and this clown shows up with a cart full of T Bones and Lobster. Whipped out his EBT card in all his glory and rung it up and walked out and got into his Escalade with the 22" wheels and roared out of the lot. We were all pissed off. I think it was Paul Ryan in the passenger seat too.
Based on the threads & comments I've seen at C-D, I would say yes... or at least, for the most part. When was the last time a Dem started one of those "saw a f/s recipient buying steak & driving a Mercedes!" threads? I can't recall any myself, and I've been around this forum a long time.
Then you should recognize the OP didn't provide a link or any reason for this outburst of nonsense..........

I'm not your "pal" (or anyone's, since that is usually directed at men), and I wasn't trying to be cute. Pay attention and try reading the WHOLE conversation, then maybe you'll get what I was saying.

Yes, that certainly would have kept this thread on track! Of course, I and a few other people didn't have trouble getting the reference... I understand a newbie not getting it, but most of the regulars here should have known immediately (as I did). I mean, those threads are posted like once a month here - along with the old "should we drug test welfare recipients" threads. Guess we're running out of new material, LOL.
Sometimes its the welfare recipient hoping into the brand new car.
But the o.p. makes compelling argument for ending welfare.
When youre spending your own money its nobodys business, but your own.
I look at it this way, you don't know the circumstances of the person with an EBT card. They might have a newer model car, but due to this god awful 0bama economy, they have lost their job, and their house, can't find any work, and all they have left is their car, or they borrowed someones car because they lost their car to the repo man too.
