What do you care what they buy with it? They only get a couple hundred dollars a month. If they waste it all on crap like that, they are not going to be eating very well, and probably go hungry for part of the month. It's their choice.

$175/week for a family of 4. That's not bad considering it's a supplement to their own food budget money or supposed to be.

Family of 3 gets $131/week. I was able to get by on $75/week shopping store brands at our regional HEB. And I didn't skimp but I also don't buy preprocessed, already cooked food. And that included feeding two dogs.
