Just AWESOME! We need more people who think like you in America! We can just protest every damn thing until none of us have anything!!!!!

Rights and liberties yes! A person has the right to protest any thing they choose to. It's their choice period. I understand the ultra conservative tends to be about stifling rights of the people. I'm not! I don't have to agree with them anymore so than you do but it's not your place to say what they can and cannot due.

Once you give away your rights and liberties, you've given away yourself.

I switched over to Little Debbies years ago when the cost of Hostess got just too high for my budget.
And Little Debbies has gone from $.99 for the Swiss Rolls to $1.79 in a just a few years.

Uninployment insurance came out of the Great Depression, 77 years ago. It is funded via state/federal employer payroll taxes. Unemployment benefits are not available to part time, temporary, self-employed or recently graduated, provided the job loss was not the employee's fault.

Used to be that unemployment was limited to 26 weeks. This was temporarily extended to 99 weeks due to unemployment rates, a safety net, due to expire in December.

Those in favor of continuing the extention report doing so continues to stimulate the economy and will save about 400K jobs. This article suggests the GOP is generally supportive of another extention of benefits:

Most of them will probably end up at small bakery jobs near their hometown. Probably for less wages but more of a family atmosphere.

Unions are just as corrupt as the Obama administration. The sooner this is learned by union employees, the better off those [stupid] people will be. It's a hard lesson, but stupid people are usually hard-headed and they don't learn lessons easily. Again, there's little doubt that the vast majority of the 18,500 employees that are losing their jobs are supporters of Obama (because Obama is in bed with the unions), therefore it is only justification that these Obama supporters lose their job. Maybe they'll learn that unions and Obama are bad for the country...but because they are so damn stupid they may not ever learn.
