I keep hearing how responsible these gun owners are-- Yet when faced with actual gun crime, they abdicate responsibility. When faced with a possible change in law which may illegalize assault rifles, they will do the OPPOSITE of what's responsible and retain their illegal weapons.
Blind adherence to tyrannical laws is not being responsible.

Ah, so you get to decide which laws you follow. Interesting.

If gun owners are responsible, they will follow the law... Not hide their illegal weapons of war.
But, it's o.k. for a criminal....

What is so sad, is that you are raging against law abiding gun owners...but yet could care less about those criminals who have guns....who don't care about the law....don't worry about what a law abiding gun owner would do if needed....

"obeying unjust laws" is a subjective statement. Apparently some gun owners feel they are allowed to re-write the statutes.

I didn't say that.

All I said was it has nothing to do with me being "responsible" or not.

I don't own or have any desire to own an "assault rifle."

And gun grabbers think they can just ignore the Bill of Rights.

No there isn't. To disobey a law one disagrees with creates anarchy, which automatically is irresponsible.

Now if one wishes to continue working to elect representatives who would overturn (legally) the new law, that is responsible. But in the interim, one cannot be a lawbreaker and responsible. They are mutually exclusive.

Negative. I've defined it as following the law. And doing whatever YOU want. Not responsible.

Change the Constitution and then I will comply. Just because a there is a law, doesn't make it Constitutional.
