Speaking of fear, I find it interesting that conservative gun owners are hysterical paranoids who fear that their guns are going to be taken away while liberal gun owners have no such fear of that.

I noticed exactly the same thing.

What is up with that?

As for the OP, it was good for about a minute's entertainment. It used to be much more fun seeing how ignorant some people choose to be. Now it's just sad.

Thank you, I thought the same thing myself.
Oh, by the way the definition was one that the greatest Canadian Liberal of all time coined. Pierre Elliot Trudeau was a brilliant and successful liberal who changed Canada forever for the good, during his almost 20 years as Prime Minister.

Oh sure. That's exactly it. You know all liberals inside and out. There's no need to even talk to them.

LOL. Oh yeah. Conservatives love freedom. And that's why the Republicans had in their platform a ban on same-sex marriage, a ban on Internet gambling, a ban on abortion, a ban on flag burning, a ban on pornography, etc.

Liberals also fear too much government. In fact, liberals fear too much of anything. We fear too much government, we fear too much corporate control, we fear too much lobbyist influence, etc.

Conservatives only seem to fear too much government. You guys don't fear anything else.

Look, I'm a business owner. When tax time comes, I really really really hate to see so much of my profits go into taxes. In fact, I really hate to see so much of my financial resources and time go into meeting regulations. But I also have a beating heart. Most businesses only care about the bottom line. That's how walmart is able to get as big as it is. They don't really care about people. I try to run my business with people in mind also.

Here's a perfect example of why you conservatives are so blinded by your fear of government that you don't stop to think other entities can take control.

John Boehner used to hand out bribe checks from the tobacco industry to his fellow conservatives. Why don't you guys fear too much corporate control? Why do you guys only focus on the government?

I built my business from the ground up. I've worked very long hours to get it to this point. I sure as hell don't want too much of anything getting in my way, and that includes government, corporations, peta, you, etc.

If you really want to have an intelligent conversation, please for godsake try to understand the other guy's position first instead of making up a strawman. Socialism is the last thing I want. I've worked too long and hard on my business to allow some lazy-ass scumbag to have a share of my pie. And I sure as hell don't want some large corporation to have an unfair advantage over me either.
With govt comes control and force. We are actually the ones that believe in choice.

Have any stats on that? I think there are plenty of democrats, if not bullied into submission, would elect to keep their guns rather than paying for body guards with guns.
