When someone is killed by a drunk driver....you don't blame the car.

When you want to address the CAUSE of these murders I will believe you are outraged.
But society has at least tried to curb drinking and driving. TV ads, legislation, and so on.
Why is it that most gun owners want to do NOTHING about guns?

Less guns would certainly be an answer but, the problem is that there are already 300+ milling guns in the country.....so at this point unfortunately more guns is going to be an answer. Do you know how "stupid" it is to think that some legal restrictions/requirements are really make a dent in reducing the number of guns that are already available for someone with mental issues to use in a mass killing. That train left the station a long time ago....you're about a century too late for that to realistically work.

As a matter of fact since they're making a statement when they kill all their victims, with all the controversy that's being made over "assault weapons", they're going to go out of their way to make sure they get one by what ever means necessary so that the statement they make gets noticed. Are kidding you kidding me, if you kill everyone using a hand gun and a bunch of small clips that you already have pre-loaded to do the job, you won't even make national news, unless you go bushmaster and a high capacity clip.

How would more guns in the house have saved this family from being shot to death? There were already a bunch of guns in the house.

No, I was simply pointing out that it is #2 not #1.

Gun Laws or No Gun Laws, these things will continue to happen. We have become a nation that does not hold life sacred. We are a nation of popping a chemical enhanced pill to make us feel good for a few hours instead of getting to the root of the problem, which for the most part is a broken soul. The adults have refused to hold our Youth responsible for their actions at home and at school. We have raised a nation of pansies who cant overcome any type of adversity at any level. We have become a society where video games and television promote immorality and a lack of respect for human life. Kids hardly interact with one another because of smart phones.

Guns will always be easily available regardless of what Government laws are passed. The problem is a lot deeper than gun possession.

I think "gun nuts" should be only applicable to those who are or were under treatment with drugs that have unpleasant side effects that triggered their homicidal episodes.

Because too many politicians have been terrorizing people about how horrible gun are (when they're not), and have been saying the best solution is to get rid of them all.

They haven't done that with cars. Probably because politcians use cars themselves. While they simply mooch off others (i.e. armed guards, armed neighbors, etc.) to keep them safe and so they think they don't need guns themselves.

Q: Why does the Constitution have a second amendment?
A: In case the government doesn't obey the first one.

Politicians terrorizing people about how horrible guns are? Politicians don't use guns, according to you?

The thing with conservatives is that some of you (like you) are inflicted with severe paranoia.
