Its thinking like yours that is hurting this society. To see this video and read the story, and you blame everyone but the girl. No wonder we continue to go down the tubes.
What section of the Constitution authorizes the government to dictate what people may or may not ingest?

It is sad that people do not even own their own bodies. If we did, people could do whatever they wanted to with it, and give every judge a middle finger.

All she had to do was show some respect and take things seriously. She didnt. Case closed.

This is more about her not showing respect and acting like a moron in front of a judge. She failed there and paid for it. She wasnt given 30 days for the Xanax.

I know Haha that just wiped the smiles and smirk right off her face didn't it!
And I love the 30 day in jail for talking to a judge in the disrespectful way she did!

For her to flip like she did just shows she was trying to flirt it up with the male older judge Hahaha he is no dummy! She is not the first one to try that I am sure! She in the end showed her true self.

Respect is earned, not given. Without delving into the personal history of that particular judge, he could be a major ahole and have the majority of his decisions overturned by an appellate court. Why would someone like that be deserving of respect?

Spare me the whole "you dont have to respect the individual, just their position" garbage too.

I'll spare you anything you wish but in return try a little experiment; take the lowest rung authority figure you can find, like a DMV counter person or a parking authority officer and tell them exactly what you think of their exalted position in the power structure as not having earned your respect.

Then jump to the cardiac specialist treating you for some myocardial malfunction and treat him to the same assessment.

C'mon back and let us all know how that worked out for you.

My bet? You end up walking around with an oxy-generator hanging off your hip because your car's been impounded and your cardiac arythmia isn't getting the treatment it desperately needs.

Yep. Nothing like going to jail for contempt of Court to sober someone up.
