Police Power.

If you are incapable of reading the link, then I can't help you because you obviously have no idea what the words Police Power means.
Like I said...

Cite the law ALLOWING police to make you stay in your home...

No law no argument...

I did, it is called Police Power, it allows state and local government to create laws in a state of emergency for the safety of the general public.

Clearly you have no idea what Police Power means, you seem to think it has something to do with the police.

The authorizations are usually embedded in the various State laws governing States of Emergency. They almost all have a list of actions or prohibitions plus a catch all of "and other measures which may be deemed necessary to guarantee the safety of residents".

A recent declaration, pay attention to the "whereases":

http://www.governor.maryland.gov/exe....2012.19eo.pdf

This one is long and delineates the power of the Governor during a State of Emergency. Included is the ability to regulate the occupancy of residences.

No law listed allowing limitation of personal movement even though their website claims they can do so.

In effect, no law exists in New Jersey meaning you cannot be held accountable and therefore police cannot force you..
In your own link, App. A 9-45 disagrees with you. App. A 9-49 says what the punishment is for disobeying a State of Emergency.

I can finish it later and point out anything else I come across if you like.
