There is no "standard response." The fact of the matter is that any American who pins the blame on the GOP are in fact woefully apathetic and abundantly ignorant. Otherwise, they'd understand that the House GOP has put forth two bills to avoid the sequester, while the Senate has done NOTHING to either debate those bills or put forth it's own bill for debate.

In other words, Democrats are to blame, starting with Barack Obama who proposed the sequester, and Senate Democrats who refuse to even acknowledge its existence beyond blaming the GOP.

Ignorance. Pure, unadulterated ignorance pervades this country. Thanks for pointing that out.

Exactly what Mateo Sid you would say, those that disagree with you are stupid.

Once again, the GOP is swimming upstream through public opinion.

Can you rebut my claims of pervasive apathy and ignorance in light of the readily available facts that are out there for otherwise uneducated American's to see?

Which is why he is whining like a stuck pig over having to go thru with his cuts. This is the one and only chance we have in getting 0bama to cut any spending, and it won't even be a 10% cut to the deficit he will create this year.

Obama: I Will Veto Attempts To Get Rid Of Automatic Spending Cuts - Forbes

President Barack Obama gave a press conference after the Supercommittee officially admitted it failed to reach an agreement to cut $1.2 trillion in budget spending over the next 10 years. Obama told reporters he would veto any attempt to get rid of the automatic cuts which are set to kick in as a part of the sequester proposition, which will be triggered unless Congress reaches over the next year.

The Left just thinks that if the GOP doesn't completely cave in, it's their fault.

Excellent find! I had completely forgotten about this!

So.....

1) Not only did Barack Obama propose the sequester....
2) He threatened to veto any attempt to get rid of it!

Intellectually honest liberals should be cowering right now in light of the ignorance they've displayed on this thread!

“I will veto any effort to get rid of those automatic spending cuts,” said Obama from the White House’s briefing room, adding “the only way to get rid of those cuts is to get Congress to come together and work on a deal.”

Speaking out of both sides of his mouth. LOL Really, if you think about this statement it makes absolutely no sense.
