Actually, i think it is Illegal to carry a lock blade knife with a blade longer than 4". Could just be here, but Im sure there are more communities have similar restricitions.

Some knives are banned for concealed carry. They need to either open manually, like a pocket knife, or be such a short length a letter opener will get you arrested. Solution: go Nick Cage Weatherman style and openly carry a Katana, Jikido, or Iaito (or compound bow and quiver). I hate coming up with what gets banned next
