These laws are symbolic.

So does this mean the war the internet rambos have been planning is gonna finally happen? It has been months and months that they have been going on about it, in fear of some higher power taking away all their guns or something. Seems like every day is the same thing, lots of crying and no action.

100K??? There are well over 80 million gun owners in the US. If just 1% say "enough" that's 800,000+ "Chris Dorners".

And out of that number, at least 3/4th of them would shot themselves on accident or shoot another gun owner on "accident." And of course, how many of those 800,000+ would be in the same shape or have the same training as Chris Dorners? Kind of hard to be a rambo with a beer gut and a cholesterol problem.

Well over one percent of the firearms owners in this country are competitive shooters in the various gun sports. F-class, NRA High Power, Sniper Comps, IDPA, long range varmint hunters, let alone skeet and trap. Dorner was a washed out cop. My money is on the civilians, I expect the vast majority of competitive shooters are more proficient than Dorner.

But the question is, how many of the competitive shooters are complete morons? I am betting the majority of them aren't stupid enough to run out into the streets shooting at the US military or any other branch of police.

When all is said and done, what makes you think they would have to? The members of the military all swore an oath to the constitution, not to a wannabe dictator. Should orders ever come down to attack American civilians, what side do you think most would come down on? Might want to look into the Oathkeepers organization.

Actually the members of the military are to obey orders from their superiors. If we had military personal that questioned everything their superiors told them, we you have total chaos in the military. But you keep pretending the military will be on your side when you take to the streets with your guns a blazing.

By the way, I have been waiting for this "war" you guys have been calling for for months now and still have seen nothing. I am beginning to think you guys are all talk and no action.
