No news media will explore this issue.
What do you want the media to do?

Please be specific.

They should do what they would have done if it was a Republican -- which of course would be all over it.

Michelle and Obama were getting divorced before he ran for president...look it up-I'm too tired to do it for you.

Who cares, the Clintons have been living apart for years

How about you stop telling people what they should say.

I'm not telling her what she should say - that's what everyone else is doing - she MEANT this... she FEELS like...

I heard exactly what she said - and how easily she said it before she stopped herself.

All one has to do is look at that picture of Harris and Obama together to know why Michelle is feeling like a single mother. He's definitely feeling "single".

Oooh. Someone's tongue is wagging. Let's see, she's beautiful, ethnic, intelligent, accomplished, a Democrat and she'll probably be Governor of California.

The conservatives will be out in full force gossiping for years to come. Meanwhile AG Harris will have more and more power and will be a force in shaping the new, better California. It's coming. You will hate it. Better duck.

And she's goo-goo eyed over a married man. Not someone much to respect.

Goo goo eyed. That's the shot the conservatives are taking at her?

Please run the CA Republican gubernatorial campaign on "She made goo goo eyes at Obama!" Please. Someone call whatever sacrificial lamb the Republicans are going to throw into the race and urge him to remind the 4,769 conservative Republicans left in the state in 2014 that AG Harris was giving the come hither look to Obama.

Those are "mistakes" that people DO NOT make. Slip up about being a single mother?? There's no way. Show me the woman who has made the mistake regarding who is the bearer of her children, or the state of one's marriage (in the case that Barack is the dad, and they are separated/divorced). The statement just rolled right off without any thought.

Wow - I did not see this until now. That whole scene in the White House is a total fraud on the country.

The video is here. The "slip" is 3:20 into the interview.
Sounds like a verbalization of what millions of unhappy, married mothers across the fruited plain think every day, but are probably too frightened to verbalize themselves.
