Next it will be to legalize marriage with your pet dog or cat. Just wait and see.

Next you'll post something even more idiotic than this. Just wait and see.

Can someone please explain how removing the gender restriction removes the number restriction, or the blood relation restriction, or the consent restriction, or the age restriction, or the species restriction?

Did removing the race restriction remove any of those?

No, but it was a start. Don't get me wrong, I do not think there should be or should have ever been laws against people marrying our of the race. Why was that even a law? I will never understand, of course I never understood any of the Jim Crow laws. I have mixed feelings about same sex marriage and of course things like marring your dog is totally stupid. But the polygamy issue isn't something to sweep under the rug. You can pretty well bet, if same sex marriage becomes a law, the polygamy issue will not be far behind.

Name one country that has SSM where there is a serious move to legalize polygamy.

Such a ludicrous slippery slope fallacy. Same-sex marriage would simply open the door for any two consenting adults to wed, not for anyone to marry anyone/thing... it would not validate polygamy anymore or less than opposite-sex marriage already does.

IIRC some very conservative religions wish that polygamy as well as very low legal age of consent and mariage were legal.

So they got same sex marriage and not they want multiple spousal duties? All I can say is that both of these things are not real marriages so why are we worried. Marriage to the same sex is not real marriage- we all know that- and marriage to more than one person is not a real marriage. What people do is their business - but if they start to steal titles and terms that don't really belong to them - the most it can be is an irritation to the ego of conservative traditionalists - so who cares? I don't.
