How many houses did they check? How did those conversations go? Did they ask the houses? There are plenty of questions, but none of us are apart of the investigation and none of us were there.
Let's talk about the video that was posted.
Again, what would have happened if they told the police, "No, I'm not coming out and no, you may not come in".
But it did do good. People were off the streets so no one would be in the crossfire if that were to occur. Police went door to door thinking the suspect might be holding a family hostage. Like I said in another thread, I have family and friends in Boston and they were grateful and thankful how this was handled.
Pay attention please, I have no problem with their "voluntary lockdown" or whatever they want to call it. Tell people to stay off the streets for their own safety is fine with me, let people choose.
Going door to door with weapons drawn SWAT team style while forcing innocent home owners out of their homes at gunpoint to search them is what I have a problem with and so should you.
Yes. Freedom for 320 million people is worth the lives of 2 people. That's an easy choice.
Maybe you should inform the families of those people who were killed that you prefer your freedom over the lives that were lost. Heck, while you are at it swing by the hospital and say that to the people who were injured.
We're talking about it now, that's the first step. Based on your replies alone I'm glad we're talking about it because it's clear that some people are clueless like you are about what freedom actually means.
Yeah, sure you are tough guy. You would be dumb enough to wave around a gun while cops are looking for a terrorist? You would of been the idiot that accidentally got shot while police were looking for the actual terrorist.
And the cops would be in jail for murder.
Do you really support LE violating our constitutional rights? Are you a Nazi?
urbanlife still hasn't answered my question - which was 'how were the Boston cops actions constitutional"?
Because you haven't answered my question yet, what are you gonna do about it? Whining on a forum site doesnt count.
And I answered your question, I am fine with how the terrorist was captured.
