We should all have the right to do exactly what we like.
With this in mind, I've decided I have the right to a pilot's license.
I'm not qualified to fly a plane and I really don't need a pilot's license for any practical reason, but other people have them and I insist on being treated exactly the same as every other person regardless of how unnecessary, impractical, petty and silly it is to do so.
Well then, obtain your medical certificate, attend & satisfactorily complete 30 hours of ground school and anywhere from 40-60 hours of solo flying time, pass an FAA administered checkride with an examiner and you can get one. Just like anyone else.
What? You think they just hand them out for the asking?
someone has to pay for those benefits, and it will be the taxpayer. gay marriage is going to bankrupt states. either that, or the average joe will just move to avoid paying the taxes.
This is quite possibly one of the most nonsensical arguments against SSM I've ever seen.
Rhode Island, Delaware, and Minnesota are super gay?
Well, since I live only about 20 miles from the Delaware border I can say that "The First State" does have a beach resort town that is extremely popular with both gay men and lesbians: Rehoboth Beach. It's sometimes jokingly referred to as "Rehomo"! It's sorta like what Provincetown is to New England and Fire Island is to New York ... Rehoboth draws gay vacationers, weekend visitors, and day trippers from Philly, Baltimore, and Washington.
That makes no sense. Gays are statistically pretty successful.
you're right...it makes no sense.
Why do they have an affinity for welfare states? Or is it just the losers galvanize to the succesful gay areas because the gays don't complain about subsidizing the slackers of the world?
"Super" liberal? Minneapolis, sure, but not the rest of the state.
