I agree with the article.

Rush Limbaugh = strong man.

George Will = strong man.

Karl Rove = strong man

Mark Levin = strong man

Pat Robertson = strong man

Dennis Prager = strong man

with strong men like these, why isn't the GOP stronger?

Alot of Black athletes endorsed President Obama. The majority of athletes who endorsed Mitt Romney were White. There were some Hispanics that endorsed him, such as Derek Parra, Alex Rodriguez. One Black athlete endorsed Romney, Greg Anthony. NASCAR is not a sport where you need alot of physical strength, as far as I know, just endurance. No one from NASCAR endorsed President Obama. However, a few people from NASCAR endorsed Mitt Romney. There were no soccer players who endorsed Mitt Romney, but a White soccer player endorsed President Obama. I would look at alot of this individually.
The bottom line is most black athletes lean left, and most white lean right, but there is a criss cross of both. However many of the white right leaning athletes I would not necessarily consider right wing. The mostly white NHL for example has shown strong support for gay rights. Major League Baseball is lobbying hard for immigration reform, and the players union had originally denounced the Arizona Immigration law and had asked the league officials to move the All-Star game out of Phoenix around the time the law came about.

Michael Vick, Derek Jeter, Floyd Mayweather, Mike Tyson, all are strong men and they are left-leaning. I disagree with the article.

This is one thing the article doesn't touch on. The article is one-sided. It doesn't talk about other things.

I didn't know about any of the other things such as what the NHL and MLB has been involved in. I just concentrate on the teams rather than the political stuff. What this further proves is that physical strength has nothing to do with being right-wing.

Exactly.

Most athletes and the general population are moderate and not left wing or right wing. I can never understand how some people don't see it that way. All you have to do is look at public opinion polling on matters of the day to see that. The right wing is always on the losing side of these polls.

Bill Maher would whip them all in a fist fight.

None of these guys are strong men...and none of them are truly right wing. Rush Limbaugh- pill popping weakling....Karl Rove--- a little liberal weasel who loves power so he pretends to be conservative because the knows that is where the bulk of power resides...Pat Robertson? Another weasel - just because you read and preach scripture does not mean you are right wing..He is a lefty _Christ was a socialist.....The point is some dawn the cloak of conservatism but are not really right winged...they are opportunists.
