That's what happens with overreach. Few believe Issa's motives are genuine. They know he is only out to try to dirty Obama and will skew information to meet that objective, and no longer take him seriously.

The Morning Plum: Darrell Issa backtracks on IRS scandal

Darrell Issa: Witch-Hunting FAILURE! - Americans Against the Tea Party

Hysterical! Jambo posts a link from the website
"Americans Against the Tea Party" in order to try and substantiate his ridiculous claim that the IRS didn't target the Tea Party! LMAO!

And now we have a 2nd IRS official pleading the 5th over charges he funneled $500 Million in contracts to his buddy:

Another IRS Official Pleads the Fifth

The stink just keeps getting worse!

Oh, that's right. That makes it OK.

There are some -- at least one I could name -- that lost a grant they needed. But, in your eyes, that's OK since they are an organization that leans right, and should be impeded by "waiting".

That's right in line with Obama's mantra: punish your enemies and reward your friends.

The big uniter.

Why would a donor, willing to give a grant, back out of making that donation? The donor is not entitled to a tax-deduction even if the organization was a 501c4.

Why would anyone get fired? The real scandal here is that political groups are using the 501(c)4 tax status inappropriately to avoid paying taxes and to hide their contributors when they do campaign work. The IRS was trying to flag the applications most likely to have problems, and they flagged both conservative and liberal groups. The IRS regs need to be changed to match the law--NONE of those groups should be allowed to do political work. I want to know why all of those applications were approved once there was political pressure--none of them should have ever been allowed to go forward if they weren't social welfare organizations doing social welfare work.

Even the federal government has standards on who obtains grants, and yes, often times you have to BE a non profit, not waiting for approval

Everytime you post something, you prove how little you know..

Kevin Kookogey, the founder and president of the educational group Linchpins of Liberty, said he applied for tax exempt status in 2011 but still hasn’t been approved. He said he has since lost a $30,000 launch grant because the IRS hasn’t yet given him the status.

Now, those of you who say the IRS scandal is "completely debunked"...debunk this:
The organizer of a pro-life group said an IRS official even asked the group to pledge not to picket the pro-abortion organization Planned Parenthood if they wanted their application to go through.

Show where any liberal/progressive group was offered a tit-for-tat to get their application appoved.

292 vs 6.

No targeting here. Deny, deny, deny or plead the 5th.
