Huh! I'd have been more convinced that Trayvon was trying to beat George up if the juice can had been found in his hand or on the ground, rather than still in this teens' pocket.
George's attorney is spending lots of time garbling up the case and filibustering his opening statement. HOpe he can prove w/ evidence all these so called statements...jurors are taking notes.
IMO, he will not have evidence to back up his statements. My opinion is that he is very definitely "garbling up the case" to confuse the jury, as I've said before, using a "smoke screen" strategy.....which will continue throughout the trial by the Defense.

Sheesh.......
I went out to do chores and came back in and he was still droning.
Thankfully he finally finished a few minutes after I came back in.
I wonder if that tactic of trying to confuse the jury could backfire - I'm sure we weren't the only ones thinking enough was enough.
Ok - so now Omara is trying to get Trayvon's parents kicked out of the courtroom?
I felt like the Defense attorney started strong after the break, but damn it felt like he was filibustering the case. It went on and on and on. I was like damn man you are trying the case in the opening statements.
I'm sure it's been explained to Zimmerman that it isn't in his best interest.. I doubt you hear a word from him during this trial
IMO if he does want to testify he will and does he will loose the case.
