The cops are really the meat of this trial. Essentially, it is the Sanford PD that is on trial for not following through in their investigation of this event.
When zimmerman is found not guilty, it won't be because of the 'brilliance' of the defense team or the quality of the prosecution's witnesses, it will be because the prosecutor is part of the legal/law enforcement community and has to work closely with police officers every day.
That is why the prosecutor allowed the defense to badger and lead witnesses. There were many multiple times he should have objected and did not. He has no vested interest in winning this case.
It is a shame for the family of Trayvon Martin. They will get no justice in this courtroom.

Having been in a few fist fights I will say 25+ blows TM will have some blood on him and have more than a 1/4 x 1/8 inch abrasion.
I firmly believe TM hit GZ at least 1 time. I firmly believe that GZ was knocked on his arse hard.
You will never convince me of 25+ blows because GZ as very little damage.
No DNA on TM. If he had done 10% of what GZ claims he would be swimming in DNA.
Was GZ scared? Hell yeah because he got dropped on his arse.
But to say TM's knuckles are evidence of laying a beat down based on a very minor abrasion? LOL Please.
To say he had bruised and bloody knuckles based on a single small abrasion? Please.
If Zimmerman was black and in Texas he wouldn't even of had a trial would have just put him in jail.
