This is seriously getting old...... We KNOW what the problems are. We KNOW what solutions can be done to correct the problems. We even KNOW how to enforce said solutions. The reason why nothing has ever been done is because people from BOTH SIDES, (rather it be political, racial, etc.) just want to sit there and point fingers and blame the opposite group. We waste so much energy trying to play the blame game, that we loose focus on the REAL ISSUES. You see it all the time on this forum, "liberals are the cause for this failure!", "Blacks on welfare are the ones destroying the economy!", "Whites are racist!" etc. Until we as Americans can learn to come together and stop playing the blame game, nothing will ever change.

Yes and people have been posting solutions over and over and over again. Why are you still so stuck on the situation? Everyone already knows the situation! They even brought up solutions! You talk about others not listening to you, but you do the same. As for my solution(s), if you would like to see it, please make an appropriate thread. This thread was suppose to be about Akon's comment and you and a few others have completely derailed it with slavery topics.
no.the south had peacefully seceded, paid for all the federal facilities that were on our soil and evacuated the personnell. Everyone knew that the north was purposely trying to provoke the south by resupplying and reinforcing a fort that WAS NO LONGER THEIR PROPERTY(invading a sovereign country..which is illegal world wide, son) so they could attack. Lincoln even said as much himself...I'll post it all (yet) again for you.

The South seceded basically over Free Trade. The North couldn't compete with the cheaper and better European goods coming into Southern ports. So they imposed the Morrill tariffs in 1860. The poor Whites of the South couldn't afford Northern goods or to pay the tariffs, so they ignored them. The Federal government controlled by the North sent troops and tariff collectors to Southern ports. This was intolerable to the economic well being of the South, so they seceded from the Federal Union and ordered the evacuation of all Federal officers and troops from the Confederacy.
Lincoln ordered Fort Sumter not to comply and sent ships to resupply them. The South bombarded them into surrendering before supplies could arrive. No lives were lost.
The jewish bankers and manufacturers of the North went into a tizzy and ordered Lincoln to force the South back into the Union.
After 2 years of war, the South was winning, even though they were greatly outmanned.
Morale was low and desertions were high in the North. There were anti-draft riots. Nobody wanted to fight for the bankers.
That's when Lincoln changed his strategy and said the war was to free the poor oppressed slaves of the South and issued the Emancipation Proclamation. European support for the South wavered after that because they were anti-slavery. The South suddenly became the bad guys. Lincoln used his new, high moral ground as an excuse to commit immoral atrocities against Southern cities and citizens. We all know how this story ended, but very few know how it started

The South definitely seceded over the issue of slavery. Some of the wealthiest people in the world were slave-owning plantation owners in the South who were alarmed that the nation just elected a president from a party whose platform advocated the restriction of slavery.
You don't see anyone rioting now either, so save the outrage.
