The meth they are making now is deadlier than the earlier versions.. Since there's restrictions on buying pseudoephedrine, they are using who knows what to substitute it.....
It has destroyed parts of Kentucky, including where I used to teach. Low value property is rendered of zero value. Poor families are rendered destitute. People with little to no medical care age in warp speed, reducing their life expectancy lower than 50. The kids are doomed and in many ways it is much worse than any inner city. Nationally it get little attention because the resulting crime is isolated, as is the very visual fallout.

Thats not true. Saw a former meth lab house in florida. It was stripped out, new drywall and flooring, they were quite happy with the house.

The house near me where they were going to attempt it was torn down. They never did anything but gather stuff since everytime someone would try to sneek in dogs would bark and the police were called. After nearly nightly calls the moved up the demoliton. To keep people out the neighbors nailed the door shut and wood over the windows. Its been peaceful since then.
Sad but not surprising. The people are making active choices to destroy their own lives and those of their families. Yet greater opportunity lies right in front of them.
It's no secret white folk like meth, crank, speed. It's a white thing.
Seems to be a rural thing and I am not sure why, perhaps the ingredients are easy to get.
