I have to read the websites and blogs of looney toons all the time because part of my job is security, so I look at the anti-coal sites, the anti-logging sites, the animal right's sites, I don't ascribe to or lend credence to their opinions, but I need to know what they are planning in case it effects my work.
Same with all intelligence, you look at all sources to get a feel for how the enemy thinks and will react.
Trying to say the Boston Bombers had similar views to our political system is not valid because we are not a theocracy for one thing, our majority religion is diametrically different from theirs, the way most Americans view the world is totally different from the terrorists, the list goes on and on.
If you want to say that a policial philosphy that exists in the US is closer to the muslim terrorists, read about Earth First or the Animal Liberation Front or Earth Liberation Front or any of a hundred other far left domestic terrorist sites.
Those guys routinely commit arson, set bombs and use terror as a weapon to this day.

Well this is incredibly ironic in a dark, twisted way, given that the ultraconservatives and radical Muslims like to think they are polar opposites.
Among the material he had was a piece arguing 9/11 and the OKC bombings were government conspiracies, one about the "rape of our gun rights," one about white supremacy that stated, "Hitler had a point," and one deriding the use of drones in the Middle East.
So I guess the next logical step is for us to ban conservative libertarian immigration, and export those already here... you know, just like what we should do with Muslims... right? Right?
