Go to one of the calulators that are on line to see your potential cost. I believe my kids used one put out by Kaiser.

If you are below the poverty line you can go on medicaid. Unless your state GOP has blocked your access.
No matter what you should have medical coverage, this system has worked very well as Romneycare in Mass.

Might be because the employer wants to be able to hire the best candidate and offers Ins as a benefit. Has something to do with the job MARKET.
