so that made the acts of tyranny justifiable? like quartering soldiers, stealing live stock and savings, burring churches with the doors locked so the people inside could not escape.

you are right how dare they not throw their lives, skills and property at the feet of a tyrant and his army..

I cannot help being astonished
That a people should come 3,000 miles
At such risk, trouble and expense
To rob, plunder and destroy another people
Because they will not lay their lives
And fortune at their feet.

Conservative:"I think women should pay for their own birth control"
Progressive: "OMG women's rights are being removed from society"
Don`t you love it, they demand compromise, yet they give up nothing and you get nothing?

They demand civility, yet they label you "racist" or a "nazi" or a "domestic terrorist", yet when you call out their long sad history of failed ideas they call you a lair..

Bingo! It was the left that deeply opposed civil rights. Kennedy and LBJ voted against Civil Rights Act in 1957.

And then LBJ passed the Civil Rights, something Kennedy proposed before he was assassinated. Barry Goldwater opposed the Civil Rights bill. Do you really expect Black people to vote for Barry Goldwater?

The above statement displays a profound lack of understanding of how the two parties have switched ideology over time. During Lincoln's time, the Republican Party was the liberal party. After Civil Rights legislation during the 1960s, the conservative Democrats migrated to the Republican Party. Northern Democrats were already liberal.

It needed to be passed on a national level. If it were left up to the states, Jim Crow would have lingered on longer in the Deep South.

For just a second, has anyone stepped back and looked at where the Progressives are taking us to?

THE 1770's.

Tyranny is abound and the Police state with all the kings men running amuck, with full power to destroy anyone they feel like.

King George would be proud of his New World..... ORDER

You are right, they would not have blacks would then leave those states, and bring wealth and labor to other states where they did pass such laws, the market place will punish the south....
