1. i think only 1 person read the tweet the professor sent, he isnt calling for someone to murder the sons and daughters of the NRA, he is saying the blood is on their hands and one day it could be their kids.
No, he did not say it "could be their kids." He said "let it be" their kids. I.e. he is wishing for it to happen.
You are right about one thing. There is no comparison between Palin's crosshairs (or was it a surveyor's symbol?) map and this guy wishing for children to be killed. Palin never remotely called for any killings, while this prof clearly did. Yet in the mind of a lib, Palin is damned, and the prof is excused. Go figure....
What a sick individual. He is a journalism professor, no wonder our media is so bad. These are the kind of idiots that are teaching them. U of K says his tweets were his 1st amendment right, so they are not firing him. Guess they approve of people wanting innocent people killed.
People need to learn that Twitter is for posting what you had for lunch or sending pics of your genitalia to young ladies - not for offering nuanced political statements.
I'll give this prof the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he assumes that, since our country does a crappy job of keeping crazy folk from harming themselves or others, it is only a matter of time before one of them strikes again. Still, replace "NRA" with "POTUS" in his tweet, and the secret service might have some questions for him.
As the left sits quitely and says nothing about the kids......if this was Nugent thread they'd be swarming like bees.
Except for the fact that several of us have spoken on this topic, and said that the professor was an idiot.
