My premium would be $421.00 a month my wife would be a bit more that is a third of our monthly income!

So if 421 is 1/3 of your income...then your monthly income is 1263. 15K a year. putting you at under 130% of the poverty level. meaning that, unless you are in certain republican states, you qualify for medicare. IE completely subsidized healthcare.

You forgot a critical part of your equation my wifes premium cost try $850 to $1000 a month for both of us ...redo your math. If I couldn't afford $800 a month for Cobra insurance what makes people think I have $800 laying around every month for Obama's signature legislation legacy fabrication ?
