Very good point Drover, very good point indeed. Incidentally, how have you been? I don't see you on the Pittsburgh forum anymore. Why not?
Just not enough recurring visits from certain paving contractors I guess. That and the longer it's been since I lived there or even visited, the less relevant my input is.
It's my impression that many Republicans and conservatives burn with a red hot seething hatred of people who don't agree with them. What a nasty intolerant bunch. When I was in college there were both a Young Democrats and College Republicans club but there wasn't this kind of hyper-partisan BS going around. We disagreed on political candidates for public office and that was pretty much it.
Whoever would leave such stupid, obnoxious and hateful comments about a college Bake Sale for one of the two major political parties should be ashamed of themselves.
I'm Republican and some of the closest people to me including my parents probably disagree with about 80 percent of my political views
It wasn't a "her." It was a "him." His name is Jonathan Sullivan. It took place in Eugen, Oregon. Here's the actual twitter feed without all the blacked out stuff:
When I was a young man in collage I was a republican, and they were nothing like these folks. I am sure that is why I am not a republican anymore.
And when i was young, and ingorant, and naive, and brainwashed, and dumber then dumb, stupid beyond belief, i was part of the brainwashed crowd. Then i woke up and became an adult. And knew what the hell was happening, did not take no rocket scientist as you get older to see plainly what the democrat party has become.
This democrat party is nothing like democrat party of the past. Maybe the same can be said about both party's in general, at least some can admit the truth. They both have lost what their greater cause should be.
No way the democrat party of the past was bullish in nature, arrogant to a fault, attack the messanger and the truth, attack the attacker, and belittle them, go after their personal information and make them pay, no way this would have been tolerated. And put a damn sock in it, the democrat party of today, is their way or the damn hwy, and most know this.
unless she takes food stamps only republicans will be able to buy her cookies...

Think you're pretty clever, huh? Take a look at this map (of food stamp enrollment, percentage-wise, by state), and report back to us what you see... what I see is a bunch of dark colors in the SOUTH, particularly around the Appalachian states. So you can't even blame the "minorities" for this one, lol.
Really? I'm an Obama supporter and I don't have an EBT card. You need some new material.
Seriously. I won't call myself an "Obama supporter," but I did vote for the guy and usually register Democrat or Green Party... and I've never accepted welfare or food stamps, nor have most of the other liberals I know. New material? Heck, they need a whole new playbook!
OP, that was very enjoyable, thank you for the link. However, I have to say what is even more enjoyable is all of the crying going on in these posts. Talk about butthurt....hahahahahahaha. Sure, we don't have a "clue". I'd say we definitely do, but the truth is too painful for some.
Looks like her FB friends have learned something from the GOP Congress. Attack, ridicule, rant and rave. That's the name of the game these days, even if you just want to sell some cookies.
