Oh, here's another one-Big brother/big gubmint is not watching you.
FL is good. It's areas covered by the bible belt that deserve that generalization more than other southern states. However, it's not always true.

Agree with this one 100%. Most job creators are not rich. There are people who create jobs and have a great impact on the economy and there are those who take up jobs and never contribute directly to job creation. It has nothing to do with being rich or poor.

Thqt the economy is supposed to be getting better, but I don't see it.

That the Usa has no rivals....China has over a billion people, and maybe could be the next superpower.

I do believe China may be stronger than the Usa,maybe not now but at some point in the future. I believe they could wipe us out if they wanted too.

Doing nothing more than creating permanent dependence.
I've been helped on more than one occasion by government agencies and I know many that function well and cost-effectively. Assuming that all government agencies are worthless makes no more sense than assuming all of them are perfect. I know plenty of private entities that are far MORE dysfunctional than any government agency I've ever encountered.

I think the difference is that you can choose not to invest in dysfunctional private entities. You can't control where your tax money goes when it comes to the government.

The Governor, grinning, when learned Nevada has the #1 best business climate in the country!

Yoohoo! We've had the best business climate here for decades, and where's the corporate relocations, where's the jobs?

That if we just keep raising the prices of cigarettes, with higher taxes, people will quit smoking!

What a horror it would be if people quit smoking! For centuries, governments throughout the world have been addicted to tobacco taxes. Napoleon waged his war with tobacco taxes, with 100 million francs in tobacco taxes coming in every year, and he was encouraging people to smoke. More smokers, more tax revenue!

But, hey Governmnent officials! There's other ways to get our nicotine highs: Sniffing it, chewing it, growing it ourselves, drying it, turning it into a tea, and drinking it!
