I have issues with their health care. My aunt saw her doctor complaining of abdominal pain. He said gallstones and scheduled surgery 6 months down the road. She got worse but the original diagnosis stuck. She died in agony from liver cancer.
I'll counter your anecdote with one of my own. My grandfather died. Doctor in the hospital said he was dehydrated when he actually had sepsis and died. This was in the US

She died for the greater good of equality in healthcare. Her death was not in vain. She died so a poor lazy person could get healthcare they didn't feel like saving for.

conservatives have been attacking other Americans long before President Obama was sworn into office.
This is because the core of conservatism is exclusion.
Also apparently its famous for:
Having the least corrupt government
Providing free college to all residents
Hot women
Free speech
Courage (see actions during WW2)
Pastries A pretty good immigration policy that we should copy in my mind
Promoting social mobility
A incredible safety net system
Low barriers to trade along with being a excellent place to do business
Very very large unions (the majority belong to a union)
Massive government taxation and spending on services with that money.
Many government jobs represent a lifetime job with incredible retirement benefits
