Don't be overly dramatic or anything.

You must have not seen everyone else celebrating at the memorial. Oh and good for you for calling it a memorial and not a funeral. It proves you guys can learn, though at a very slow pace.

And suddenly he saw the Danish prime minister lift her phone to take a photo of her face alongside seatmates Obama and Cameron. Schmidt dutifully clicked away. “They’re in front of you, this happens, you take the picture,” he said. “But I saw so many good images from that memorial. And the picture that’s getting played is the president in a selfie. That’s kind of a bummer.”[/b]
So why did the photographer post the photo if he thought no one cares about them? He obviously thought people do care, or he wouldn't posted it, eh?

Because he uploaded 499 other photos in the bunch, you know how there are millions of slideshows on the Internet? Well this photo was in one of those slideshow mixes.

Just telling how it is. Who couldve imagined, our President of the United States, having a merry ole time at a memorial service and taking a frickin stupid "selfie" pic?!?! This is as bad or worse than that one funeral where Clinton was walking in to the church, laughing and then seeing a camera and being able to shed tears within a second.

Whatever, a lot of these folks, the elites, are just pathetic. Its all about them all the time. A bunch of phony, hypocrites.

The funny thing is, Obama was suppose to be the anti-Bush and Obama's supporters chanted mantras and fainted over this very point.

They hyped themselves up in such an emotional frenzy that most haven't realized that they just reelected Bush III. Stupid things in public, mispronouncing simple words, NSA, Patriot Act, Regressive Taxes, drones, more foreign military bases, etc...

OH FFS.

HE didn't take the picture, the Danish PM took the picture. It's JUST a picture. Why anyone cares is totally beyond me.

And everybody was having a merry ole time. It was that sort of remembrance. They weren't laying Mandela to rest, they were celebrating his life. In a JOYUS fashion. SHEESH.

No one is complaining that while Obama was standing next to the Danish PM, that he was polite and smiled for the news photographer's photo.

You are talking about the one at the national prayer breakfast, I saw that photo, it was not Bush taking a 'selfie' of he and Bono, a professional news media photographer took the photo of them together, and Bush was polite and smiled for the photo. I would expect anyone else to do the same thing.
