Congrats to NM! Nice to see the propagation of equal rights for all.

You should perhaps direct your reply to those who mention religion in the first place. I didn't.

I've only mentioned this when you brought up religion. I wouldn't have otherwise. Please leave that out of it.

(And on the cases of some others, such as the last one I quoted, they've gone too far off the deep end to even bother suggesting it to.)

Marriage equality already existed in New Mexico.

What these unelected individuals in black robes did was confer special rights.

By special right, you mean exactly the same thing that straight people already had?

This argument makes so little sense I'm not sure it even qualifies as an argument.

LOL. What special rights - in particular, who gets these special rights and who are denied them?

Oh, I'm so sorry, Harrier. So close, yet so far away. New Mexico's supreme court justices are actually elected. Thank you for playing. We're delighted, however, to give you a consolation prize - the home version of our game. See you next time, goodbye everybody!

Harrier isn't the least bit upset.

He supports states making their own laws.

It is disappointing however, that the people of New Mexico(or their elected state legislators) did not get to decide what the law should be

Liberals hate giving power to the people.
