Anti life equality folks think that stuff like this just happens.

Nope. Decisions have to be made and people should be responsible for their choices.

Answer the question. I'm not sure anyone has, and I'm not sifting through dozens of pages of religious scripture quoting and flag waving to see:

Do you support the death penalty and/or life imprisonment for women who get an abortion, and boyfriends who facilitate or pay for same?

If you do not, then YOU YOURSELF do not actually hold the life of a zygote to the same standard as the life of an already born person.

You MUST have as big a penalty for the abortion of a 2 week old fetus as a 2 year old baby if you insist on characterizing the issue as "life equality." Since there is no statute of limitations on murder, you would also probably have to round up the millions of mothers and boyfriends/husbands who have obtained an abortion.

There is simply no way around it.

Abortion is legal. Are you suggesting that the law, if changed, can be applied retroactively?

Really Harrier?

What would YOU do with these two guys? Let them out of prison someday?

Because at some point during the nine months of gestation, something that it obviously not a human being (i.e. a fertilized ovum) becomes something that obviously is a human being (i.e. a full term fetus). During much of that time, it is not obviously either. Therefore any attempt to draw a line where a transition from not human being to human being takes place is completely arbitrary.

Abortion law must err conservatively, but not stupidly.

Assumes facts not in evidence.

Perhaps if life were equal, that would make more sense.

As just pointed out, all such lines are arbitrary.

Your definition of "when a human life is 'over'" is a tendentious strawman, unworthy of serious consideration.

Let's not. It would be stupid.

"Dear Parole Board:

I think it's mean you've kept Charlie Manson locked up all these years. Please release him. He's a human being and I'll let him sleep on my couch."

Let's create life equality!
You want to create life equality, do you root for prisoners on death row? We have a lot of unwanted children living in the US, what should we do with them? How many orphan children have you adopted?

Charles Manson never killed anyone, to our knowledge.

Why should he be in prison?
