It is a very bold move to position himself as a leader of the Democrat Party and to try to get his people in line to push to make things happen. Time will tell if this threat has any teeth to it and if the Democrats fight for the president or not. It is smart of a president to have members of his party in Congress backing him and fighting for him.
As the Christie affair demonstrates, America loves a leader who kicks butt and takes names.
And 2 issues he pointed out where he'll act is amnesty and min wage.
So with a swipe of a pen he'll grant amnesty to 11-30 million and raise the min wage all by himself.
Why did he just call the Dems in for this little "chat" ?
Why weren't the Repubs invited as well ?
And I love that when the Dems left the meeting not a one had a comment for the press.
I wonder if they are talking among themselves….
The clip shown on this morning's news also included Obama's caveat of " where I can". I think this is a link to it. Notice the " when I can" headline. Assuming this is the same thing referred to in the OP's link, it appears that the caveat was edited.
I think that is the GOP game plan...jail the opposition.
