It is smart of a president to have members of his party in Congress backing him and fighting for him.
As the Christie affair demonstrates, America loves a leader who kicks butt and takes names.

Did you ?

So you are in favor of rule by EO then ?

Both Clinton and Bush had years where Congress was against everything they wanted.
But there was no rule by EO by either of them.

Obama talks about amnesty, raising min wage, more environmental regulations and gay rights.
EO's are not for that purpose.
Huh? Are you really that uninformed. Both of these guys did far more EO's than Obama has to date.

Hillary should be in prison, not in office.

Christie has his own problems to worry about, but that is what he gets for playing Jersey politics.

Please, Bush and Clinton used EOs a number of times to get what they wanted when Congress didn't act. You act like this is something new.

Content of EO's not number of EO's.

Did they legislate and fund via EO's ?

What legislation did they enact via EO ?
How did they fund it ?

Bush wanted to change SS but you didn't see him do it via EO did you ?

Obama talked about amnesty and raising the min wage via EO if Congress doesn't back him up.

Why did he just call the Dems in for this little "chat" ?
Why weren't the Repubs invited as well ?

And I love that when the Dems left the meeting not a one had a comment for the press.
I wonder if they are talking among themselves….
The clip shown on this morning's news also included Obama's caveat of " where I can". I think this is a link to it. Notice the " when I can" headline. Assuming this is the same thing referred to in the OP's link, it appears that the caveat was edited.

No, he didn't. He said he would "act", but those actions would be limited to what EOs can do, or the courts would reject them.
