I'm not a member of the Chief Executive's Party.

We have two choices; we watch the U.S. collapse because of obstructionism or we see the President make bold decisions and then hold him and his Party to account at election time in the Fall.

Let's see if Mr. Obama really is an evil dictator. If so then all the citizens just sitting on the sidelines will be forced to get engaged to resist. Too many cowards not taking action at a critical time in our nation's history is allowing the U.S. to become a Totalitarian State and that sickens me.

And 2 issues he pointed out where he'll act is amnesty and min wage.
So with a swipe of a pen he'll grant amnesty to 11-30 million and raise the min wage all by himself.

Why did he just call the Dems in for this little "chat" ?
Why weren't the Repubs invited as well ?

And I love that when the Dems left the meeting not a one had a comment for the press.
I wonder if they are talking among themselves….

IMO it looks like both parties are on the same team. If one party is in power the other party will groan about abuse of power, foreign policy, and legislation . But when the groaning party regains power they will mostly carry out the same policy and abuses. I would not count on {R}s if regaining power that they would turn back any abuses. You know how they play well you did it when so and so was in office and now it is our turn.
I think we are heading towards totalitarian gvt any way the only question left is which party will be in control. Of course democracy will bring this about and the ignorant un washed masses will vote away their own freedom for security, both national and personal security. It is unfolding right before our eyes.

As long as he is in office. There are already restrictions on the 1st, 2nd,
and 4th Amendments on his watch.
So the end of America ends in 2017? Does that make a rebirth of America unless a Democrat gets elected, then it is the continuation of the end of America?

It's not entirely true that the Congress is not challenging Obama - the new Budget bill they just passed cuts a lot of funding from specific programs that the EPA and other regulatory agencies are attempting to force on us. I've never seen so many specific "defunding" measures against regulation. There is not a lot that the Republicans can do to stop Obama, but they are certainly chipping away at some of his nonsense. The House has taken away several big Slush Funds that Obama uses - it's slow progress, but at least it's progress.

The GOP has to take the Senate to have any hope of stopping him. It's going to be difficult for the Democrats to vote in favor of a HUGE Bailout for the Insurance companies. The House is going to force those votes. Eric Holder will continue to try and box up any investigations and nothing can be done about that as long as he is the Attorney General - Holder has not been able to stop the Contempt Court case against him, but it's a very slow process that the Media is ignoring for the most part.

Part of Obama and his Team's brilliance is that they are hitting the American public on so many fronts that it's hard to keep up with what they are doing. They go after small farms with the same vigor as they do a large business. Obama continues to go after any Whistle-Blower on his actions with a demonic zeal. It's not easy to turn on these people because they will destroy your life.

And that is why Snowden did what he did rather than stay and try to do it the legal way.
But I'd wager many people don't see it that way.

So the US becomes a dictatorship then with a one man rule ?
Toss Congress to the side and let him rule with EO's ?
Would you feel the same way if a Repub President said that ?
The Dems won't be in power forever you know.
