First it was a coming ice age.
Then it was a coming heat wave.
Ice caps would melt, the oceans would rise. Civilization was doomed.
Then the deadlines passed. OOPS.
Then it was shunted to climate change.
Anything out of the ordinary was blamed on climate change.
But really, folks, do you still think that taxing carbon is the solution to climate change?
Do you still believe that humans are a significant factor in climate change?

We just had some dingus in the local paper write a letter to the editor saying Florida will be underwater in 100 years if present trends continue. I think they printed it as a joke.

Well, I am suggesting to my daughter that as she brings up her son to instill in him the further suggestion to dissuade his offspring to not follow their Great Grandfather to Florida.... Just saying..

The usual anti-knowledge, pro-ignorant corporate talking points spew:

"Look! It's winter and it got cold. Means there's no global warming!"

A lot of people learned from Al Gore; he's the expert at conflating weather and climate and using sensationalism to exaggerate his points.

It's almost like scientists need to manufacture fear and a disaster in order to keep their jobs and juicy government funding. We would probably be sick to find out just how much of our tax money is blown on junk worthless science. In the 1990s, it was killer bees!

Good god. You lack even the most basic understanding of Global Warming. Global Warming means Extreme Temperature (aka "Climate Change"). Somehow the word "Warming" completely throw off you conservatives. I guess there's no surprise there though.

You accusing people of against science is like a frog calling other people ugly.
