Nope, why cannot people live within their means for what they make? Whether its min or not?

Yuo make $10 an hour, you live within that money until you move up.

If only ceo's and hedge fund managers actually had to earn it. Instead they make laws, and good ol boy networks to keep it within their "class".

Lets see how well you do going out to people working their ASS off...making minimum wage....and tell them-you want enough money to survive? You got to EARN it.

On the plus side...they probably wont be taking your money....on the negative side...there might be some force involved.

Who is the min wage set by? You said who is forcing businesses to pay a certain wage....then went on to say, as long as it is min wage+....

If an employeer does not have employees, is he an employeer?

You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.

Perhaps you missed the sentence "the white collar class as well as the men in overalls;"

He was talking about everyone. Your "14 yr old kids" part is a nice diversion, but im not biting.

However as has been pointed out that was in 1933, in 1937 he made similar statements. I dont think that he really thought ONLY skilled workers deserved to be paid enough to live on. I suspect rather he believed that people that worked hard deserved to share in Americas success.

False, there have been a number of facts presented on the benefits of raising the minimum wage, but you choose to let your emotions get in the way of those facts to discredit them.

Im an atheist.

But I can quote a WHOLE bunch of the bible dealing with things like this if you want. LOL. If we were a nation where the right wing Christians acted like Christians we'd never be having this topic come up.

I believe you made the claim that "most" have family connections. Waiting on the proof.

Then they aren't truly free, are they. And yes, it IS force. You are forcing someone to pay a certain wage. It might be $2, or $50. But it IS force all the same.

Republicans donate more money to charities than democrats. The Christians are the ones funding many of the soup kitchens and shelters that help the poor.

Minimum wage is not a religious issue.
