I am amazed at the constant misconceptions of Tea Party members. Are you deliberately obtuse, or are these "facts" listed somewhere on some liberal blog? Either way, you're not very smart to believe all that crap.

But because they live in some podunk empty crap hole they are independent. LMAO Not even close Opie.
The private sector mines metal and basic materials like oil, not the government. I'm trying to see what your point is here.

I highly doubt this is really true. MSM has really done a good job brainwashing the public and destroying their reputation by spouting stuff that really isn't true.

Here is the Reason! This article is spot on about the Republican Party! Please read the whole thing.

This tactic of inducing public distrust of government is not only cynical, it is schizophrenic. For people who profess to revere the Constitution, it is strange that they so caustically denigrate the very federal government that is the material expression of the principles embodied in that document. This is not to say that there is not some theoretical limit to the size or intrusiveness of government; I would be the first to say there are such limits, both fiscal and Constitutional. But most Republican officeholders seem strangely uninterested in the effective repeal of Fourth Amendment protections by the Patriot Act, the weakening of habeas corpus and self-incrimination protections in the public hysteria following 9/11 or the unpalatable fact that the United States has the largest incarcerated population of any country on earth. If anything, they would probably opt for more incarcerated persons, as imprisonment is a profit center for the prison privatization industry, which is itself a growth center for political contributions to these same politicians.[1] Instead, they prefer to rail against those government programs that actually help people. And when a program is too popular to attack directly, like Medicare or Social Security, they prefer to undermine it by feigning an agonized concern about the deficit. That concern, as we shall see, is largely fictitious.

Among the GOP base, there is constant harping about somebody else, some "other," who is deliberately, assiduously and with malice aforethought subverting the Good, the True and the Beautiful: Subversives. Commies. Socialists. Ragheads. Secular humanists. Blacks. ****. Feminazis. The list may change with the political needs of the moment, but they always seem to need a scapegoat to hate and fear.

Not everyone in the tea party is retired. There are a lot more young people than you think. There goes your reasoning.

Because that's all you do. You accuse liberals of race baiting but all you do is make snide remarks about various races of people and then sit back and wonder why everyone is mad. You don't mention what color people who get farm subsidies are or what color people who get corporate welfare are or the color of people who run ponzi schemes are. We're all Americans so why does race matter?

You're an anon poster on a message board so your views don't really bother me. The problem is that republican law makers make statements just like you do and then wonder why the crowd at the RNC conventions are increasingly white and male.

It's very sad that people go around with these thoughts in their heads. Don't they know how to wade through the BS? I don't think all liberals are communists or [insert current talking point about liberals here]. I know how to figure out what's true and what's not. I believe there is a term for people who can't wade through - useful idiots. I hate that term and never use it, but if people really think conservatives are like the Taliban or Muslim Brotherhood, then they ARE idiots.

It would be nice if you and your types admitted they were a bunch of hypocrites.

AND VERY biased with no real proof of what they claim.

I'm not sure how it's snide either if I want to use it for a valid statistical purpose. Maybe I'm not full or fear or sensitivity like you are. I don't like farm subsidies or ponzi schemes regardless of color. That isn't the point though.

If you're curious, I'm not white either. I'm not even a registered republican.
