CARACAS, Venezuela (CNN) -- President Hugo Chavez on Friday wrapped up his campaign to push through broad constitutional changes with a broadside attack against adversaries at home and abroad -- including a threat to cut off oil exports to the United States.
The short term pain against us will backfire against you.
Agreed!
I found a figure that stated 44% of Venezuela's oil revenue comes from the US. That was from 2004 though....still, let the SOB cut off his nose to spite his face. I'll gladly pay extra at the pump for that.
I don't understand any American who supports this guy.Yeah some leftist leaning Americans probably like him for some of his swats at Bush but this guy insults just about every American....and he won't shut up.
He doesn't care about Venezuela's economy though; he's already wealthy, and he's pretty much dictator for life at this point. He can afford to not care about the peasants whom he lied to in order to get elected. He's a scumbag.
I wish we could figure out an alternative to foreign oil imports so we could tell BOTH Chavez and the Saudis to go eff themselves.
