They should have known. Shortly after Palin’s presence but made public, Hamilton Health Services began to receive nasty telephone calls and emails. Some people who contacted the organization described themselves as donors and indicated that they would never ever donate again if Palin was to speak. While most of the disgruntled gave the fact that Palin had criticized Canada’s healthcare system as the reason, some people suggested that Palin should not be present in an area where many of the elected officials are members
Palin dumped from fundraising for Canadian hospitals

So it was Canadian hospital donors from Canada who were disgruntled, not Palin supporters. This was no loss.

Public Policy Polling:

In addition to political issues, the company has polled the public on such diverse topics as the approval rating of God,[6] whether Republican voters believe President Obama would be eligible to enter heaven in the event of the Rapture [7] and whether hipsters should be subjected to a special tax for being annoying.[8]
Ok--show us some "right-leaning" polls that make her look viable or that Alaskans even like her.

As an individual, I like governor Palin and yes I would vote for her over Hillary Clinton. That said, I would also vote for Daffy Duck over Hillary Clinton. I don't really see governor Palin as a viable candidate for president.

Well, of course. Why would they want to continue to donate if the hospital was willing to pay the hypocritical grifter almost a quarter million dollars?

Her record showed that she was more qualified to govern compared to Obama who had zero executive experience. And people don't realize that as governor, Palin was the 2nd most powerful governor in the nation. Palin proved as governor she was able to work with democrats and get things accomplished that the previous governors of Alaska were unable to do. If she were to run and Hillary was her opponent, Palin's executive record would outshine Hillary. Hillary is plagued with scandal and the media has done their best to cover for her like they have with the putative president. The media needs to reform itself and stop being bias so it can report the facts on each candidates experience, policy and ideas. Palin says American need to return to it's founding principles and we have strayed off that path. I have to agree. I would encourage everyone to read the first link and watch the 2nd link before commenting instead of typing a impulsive biased knee jerk reaction. Please try to refrain from doing that. This thread is about having executive experience that can get this nation on the right track to prosperity as well the media reporting that experience.

Is crack really that cheap where you live to actually believe that crap? How in the Hell can she be the 2nd most powerful governor in one of the least populace states? I guess the the fact that she did not complete her term as governor should not be mentioned, nor the fact that she left in disgrace and scandal. Hell if you go on the Alaskan forum, the majority of them do not have kind words for her either. As for her qualifications, how about being consistant and be knowledgable about something outside of her own little media grabbing world?

Hell, why did I even respond to such dribble in the first place?

Here's why. In Alaska, Palin had line-item veto power over the budget and it could only be overridden by a three-quarters majority of the Legislature. Other states don't have a system set up like that.

'I think that remark is one of his more out of touch remarks that we’ve heard in recent days. No. What emboldened our enemies and what empowered our competitors was his promise to fundamentally transform America from being a solvent, free, exceptional country into something we’re not gonna recognize. Also, what has emboldened enemies is that he with doubling of our debt since he’s been elected, putting us on a path towards bankruptcy, and then locking up pipelines and resources that will result in us being more reliant on foreign imports for energy, and then of course he, having left behind, his administration having left behind our brave men in Benghazi to be murdered, and then of course there’s Syria, where he promised to bomb Syria because in that civil war, Syria was going to bomb Syria, and then we never heard another word again about his threat to bomb in a foreign civil war, and then of course, most recently, Megyn, he, uh, using our military, those who would fight against our enemies. Our military. Our vets. Shutting down their memorials. And holding them hostage in terms of budget deals. Uh, threatening to withhold paychecks for our brave men and women.'
