It was a gossip mag that exposed John Edwards having a love child that everybody dismissed as.......well.......gossip. But guess what? It was all true!
Bryan Singer believes he has proof that will blow his sexual accuser out of the water ... he was NOT in Hawaii during the period he allegedly committed a sexual assault.
Michael Egan claims in a new lawsuit Singer anally raped him and forced hard drugs on him during 2 separate trips to Hawaii in August and October, 1999.
Sources connected with Singer tell TMZ ... the "X-Men" director has proof he was NOT in Hawaii during that period ... he was in Toronto shooting the first "X-Men" movie.
We're told Singer will file credit card bills and various other documents proving he was in Toronto during the times in question.
We know the movie itself was shot Sept. 22 - March 3 in Toronto, but there was pre-production and we're told Singer was present.
While I don't have a dog in this fight, it is interesting to see gossip and entertainment blogs being heralded as viable sources from our intrepid OP.
Usually these threads involve claims of undeniable / universe-shattering news coming from supposedly knowledgeable sources out 'for the truth'.
And when this Bryan Singer news item presented itself, oh well.... It's "good enough", better start a thread.
Cause for concern over what other items are just "good enough" to be taken as fact.
So he the kid waited 15 years because he no longer has a chance at a film career?
The FBI, who have no reason whatsoever to cover for Singer, said there was already an investigation. If the mother reported it in 2000, why no lawsuit at the time?
"A spokesperson for the FBI said action was taken from the mother’s interview, but declined to say exactly what was done with it. Our office investigated allegations and successfully prosecuted a man in or around 2000. I'm limited in commenting on any litigation, and the FBI does not comment on information provided to agents about alleged crimes, unless the claims become a matter of public record; however, the suggestion that the FBI ignored evidence involving the sexual victimization of a child is ludicrous,” the spokesperson told FOX411. “The FBI vigorously pursues all allegations involving the sexual abuse of minors and, pursues prosecution when evidence of such crimes is brought to its attention."
I see a lot of "evidence" of him being gay at those links but no evidence of him being a rapist.
