Never ever thought white males had any issues until my husband tried to get a job when he was laid off. Wow, what a politically correct vomit tornado that is. Female? Nope. African American? No. Veteran? Nope. American Indian? Nope. Hispanic? No.
Sorry, no job for you! Oh, certainly you're qualified, in fact you might be the best qualified, but we have to meet certain EEOC requirements.
And so the standards in the workforce continue to get lower and lower...
Idiocracy much?
For 17 years i worked for fortune 500 company and I can tell you, it's not because he's white it's because he's over qualified. Companies are now going for lower cost workers.
Blacks, Hispanics and women will work for lower pay and that's the real truth!
Most of these companies could careless about the EEOC.

So..........you are assuming that:
1. Your husband is more qualified than anyone of any of the groups you cited for these jobs
2. Anyone was actually being hired for any jobs at the time
3. Everyone who was a minority was getting hired, while white men were not.
You are making a whole lot of assumptions without knowing the situation.

Standards are lower because white men don't automatically, reflexively get all the advantages? Maybe homeboy just didn't have the necessities.
We are not a part of the protected class but we do not need to be. The hate crime law does not apply to white people according Eric Holder . White people can only be charged with a hate crime.
There is right and there is wrong and the end never justifies the means. I find the hypersensitivity and the immaturity of many minorities to be beyond imagination. I don't care if someone calls me a bunch of names; but our constitution protects us from being fined for our political beliefs. You can like or not like anything you want to. Unfortunately this generation does not understand "freedom of speech." I find the actions of these ball teams to be communistic. In other words, "You have to think just like me or we will ban you." I see a short life for a country this intolerant.
Did you care so much when intolerance was the law of the land? Something tells me you didn't........
I'll say whatever i want to anybody i want and not feel an ounce of shame or guilt because of the PC police in our society today..It's over the top..
And i see the "minority" getting away with things daily..Specifically illegal's who don't go through the process legally to enter our country and work..They are mostly construction workers who live here under the radar and send most of the earning back to their place of origin without paying taxes, and leave after so many years and go back to where they came..
While these abuses are blatant, they are almost encouraged by politicians who want to give these people a free pass..
My great grandparents didn't get a free pass when they came here...Instead they looked at signs that said "Italians need not apply" and the same can be said for the Irish community in boston...Irish need not apply even though they went through Ellis Island and where here legally and paid taxes their entire life, going on generations now..
So Yes!! People like myself feel some anger the way things are now..The south of the border construction worker i see at home depot "illegal" is making more than me and probably is getting Gov. funds..
My family has never asked for a dime from the Gov..yet our Social Security is in question down the road..And yes, I blame any employer who hires these people...
In the end, my family will be fine but things don't look hopeful for the white man. If you live in Beantown and are young and white..get onto the police force or become a firefighter, those Unions ring true!!

Look around you. Non-Hispanic whites are approximately 64% of the population. Men are about 49% of the population. Straights are somewhere around 97% of the population. Do the math - us straight white men are somewhere around 30% of the American population.
Now look at Congress. Look at governors. Look at mayors and city council members and CEOs and university presidents and doctors and attorneys and LEOs and teachers and professors and so on and so on and so on - every group that wields power is made up of straight white men in numbers far disproportionate to our population. We have every advantage in life.
And yet you wring your hands and pout like you're oppressed.
