I smell a book deal and a speaking tour.

Sandy hook is tainted by dirty left wing politics with nothing but an agenda. The official story has too many inconsistencies.

Yep, it was the Brady Bunch that killed those children and set Lanza up as a patsy.

Yes, I'm sure he was just waiting and hoping an opportunity would present itself so he could take a public stance on gun control. You on the other hand, look for opportunities to take a stance.

What part of 'grieving father' don't you understand? Not being a parent yourself, it might make this a stretch in imagination for you to answer, so I guess I can get why you're not getting this.

Ya, I'm sure the grieving father had that on his bucket list to write about about how his life changed the day his child was murdered.

I have suffered loss.

My choice was to grieve in privately...... not show boat.

Did you loss make the world news? Did anyone stick a microphone in your face just after it happened? You can't predict what you'd say if you had been in his shoes just hours after the murders. Also, the fact that you can't tell the difference between "show boating" and raw grief is disturbing and very sad.

That makes it doubly sad, then, that you would disparage the grieving of another.

Wow. This really goes beyond the pale!
How do you blame a father for not teaching his son how to deflect a barrage of bullets from a psychopath who decides to randomly start shooting people?
Have a little sliver of compassion! The man lost his son.

Me, too, and when the media came around to hound me, I turned away from them. Not a chance was I going to make a public spectacle of myself.

As far as guns vs. knives, I would much rather die by bullet than by slashing and gorging and my bleeding guts strewn all over the place.

Yes, mine did. And yes, they did.

And the part I bolded? That's exactly why this fella should just keep his lips zipped.

This man took to the podium on his own. Nobody dragged him up there.
