So your only concern is not really the weapon of choice, but the number of deaths?

One of the reasons for the second amendment is so the government cannot just go around locking up those who have never committed a crime.
When he started threatening to kill people.

Yep...before he ever went on the shooting spree.

Absolutly right. Which is why it's not possible to have a reasoned conversation with most gun nuts. They simply don't see a problem with there being a mass shooting on average once every two weeks. It's all good to them. They are only interested in making sure we are not allowed to discuss possible ways of ending the massacre. And if you lose someone to gun violence, you are a whiner and need to shut the **** up about it.

[quote=HeyJude514;34989368]Well, as Joe the Plumber basically said, tough ****, your dead kid doesn't trump my gun rights. Which is pretty much the attitude we're seeing here on C-D. Now i

This impulse to blame the victims (as Joe the Plumber did) is the hallmark of an abuser. I'll bet Joe-the-loser-plumber's wife (if he has one) has a story not too jolly.

If I have any concern it's for the dead and their families. The rest of this stuff is the whiny bleating of overly emotional finger waivers acting in the direction their overlords tell them too.

I have been trying to discuss ways. No one wants to join in. They just want to press their partisan politics.
