Furthermore, public schools are a huge factor in low IQs. Our country's public schools educate only 1/3 of all public school students to grade-level proficiency. Red state public schools are more integrated than blue state public schools. The bottom is pulling down everyone else. Education statistics bear all that out.
Like I said before, it's not about red vs blue. It's about northern culture vs southern culture. Northern culture values things that the southern culture does not, and vice versa. Education is a huge discrepancy.

One of the dumbest posts I've seen on here. I doubt theres 1 city in the top 50 most populated that have a majority of registered Republicans. Conservatives never seem to understand that the safest cities are also Democratic strongholds, its always about the logical fallacies their little friends post in Facebook memes that they believe without question.

Actually, public school education is consistently bad, nationwide. By 8th grade, there's not one state in which even half of all public school students are educated to grade-level proficiency.

El Paso -- almost all minorities and so is very liberal, one of the poorest cities in the USA, always voted the safest city -- guns are legal and very plentiful.

It seems legal guns might be the factor. El Paso where guns are legal because it happens to be in Texas is very safe, much safer than those cities where there are gun laws.

Then one must look at demographic differences...
What is the common denominator that we see as the difference?

Don't look too hard, or you will go color blind, for the sake of being called a racist.

No child gets left behind.... Grade wise.
They all get left behind, so the dumb kids that can barely speak english, get taught the basics.
They cannot hurt anyones feelings, by flunking them and holding them back a grade.
It is just like the push from government, that everyone gets a trophy, or no one will get one.

Wow we agree on something.

With that being said... why can the right wing figure out the problems and blatantly not give a damn about fixing it?

2 - Detroit, MI - Strong Support for Democrats
3 - Oakland, CA - Strong Support for Democrats

5 - New Orleans, LA - Over 100 years of Democratic dominance

7 - St. Louis, MO - Strong Support for Democrats
8 - Jackson, Miss - Leans Democrat
9 - Baltimore, MD - Strong Democratic Support
10 - Newark, NJ - Over 150 years of Democratic dominance

There isn't a single Republican leaning city in the Top 10. Can anyone explain why this is?

The left is always using any and every tragedy to sensationalize gun violence, but all the gun violence is happening in left dominated cities.

Maybe the left should willingly give up their 2nd amendment rights and save us all from their violent ways.
Why is this a thread every three months?

They've tried. Democrats, and Obama's DOJ go after them when they do so.

"School-choice programs have faced no shortage of legal challenges en route to their adoption in 18 states and the District of Columbia. But none of the challenges is so perverse or perplexing as the Justice Department's motion last month to wield desegregation decrees to halt Louisiana's voucher program.

As part of its efforts to boost educational opportunities for disadvantaged children, last year Louisiana enacted the Student Scholarships for Educational Excellence Program. The statewide program provides tuition vouchers to children from families with incomes below 250% of the poverty line whose children otherwise would attend public schools that the state has graded C, D or F. This year, roughly 8,000 children are using vouchers to attend private schools. Among those, 91% are minority and 86% would have attended public schools with D or F grades."
Clint Bolick: Justice Department vs. Louisiana Voucher Kids - WSJ

Keep in mind that 2/3 of Black and Hispanic adults support school vouchers. One day, they'll wake up and realize how badly Democrats are screwing them and their children.

They haven't tried anything.

Their definition of try is "offer a voucher, and cut all funding to everything else poor folks need."
