No, but you get better treatment from the barstaff. It only pays off if you go often because they will remember you and serve you before other people. If you order the same stuff they will make it for you before you even place an order.

Meh...maybe they think by talking about it, it'll have the effect of making blacks tip more.

But it's having the opposite effect on me. I'm now realizing that I'm overtipping according to my race. I may as well start cutting back...maybe even stiffing servers altogether.

And why not? Seeing as how they're trashing black folks anyway.
