Mexico is completely ignoring their duties as a nation in respect to controlling their population and their border. Their cartels import drugs, weapons and slaves into the US. Their unhappy citizens cross our border in droves illegally.
If I was elected president the first call I make would be to the Mexican president making it clear that I see it as an act of war their complete failure to stop the drugs and the illegals.
Secure your country or we will do it for you and you might find Mexico to be 3 or 4 States in the US.
Hmmm... Perhaps, and this is just a wild idea - perhaps true-blue Americans could stop hiring illegals and using drugs? That would kinda solve the problem right then and there, wouldn't it?
As a Mexican American i want to assimilate to the United States culture. I want to become part of the United States. Why are you talking like this is serious? Why do you want to go with war against the country where my ancestors came from? What about us? I want to become an American and assimiliate, but its people like you that makes me go "what the hell"?
You want us to assimilate yet you talk crap like this? When has Mexico ever had bad intentions towards the U.S? Do you see Mexicans blowing up buildings? Infiltrating your secret data? Just because poor people are looking for better things they are declaring war and that give us reason enough to go to war against Mexico? Won't that make it worst? A destroyed Mexico will actually push more immigrants over here?
Don't you think if the Mexican government builds big walls to keep their poor in and not escape, make them look bad?
Won't that make them look like North Koreans were there poor can't escape? I know i would see it like that.
It would actually look worst if the Mexican government builds walls and puts their military on the border and force their people from migrating to look for better opportunities.

Marxist BS? Have you read about the history of Mexico? Do you know Mexico is basically a yes-man to the United States? They have never had a left leaning party control the senate/congress/presidency. Hispanic Americans facilitate illegal immigration because they go against any attempts to stop illegal immigration. Do you realize several billion people would like to immigrate to America to seek a better life. Have you ever seen immigration gumballs. Our country needs healing. We cant heal if we keep adding poor needy people to our nation. The massive birth rates in Latin America and the rest of the 3rd world make it impossible to have reasonable immigration from those countries. They will overwhelm us with too many people and sink us.
have the illegal aliens build massive wall from Texas to Cali.. or put the military on the border.. one or both.. it would be cheaper then fighting another war..
Agreed- simply put the military on the border.
The illegal immigration crisis has been escalated by Obama in ignoring current law. There will be a reaction, one way or another, to this crisis. Either we will have wholesale amnesty and an even greater invasion of illegals (thus "fundamentally changing" America to a third world nation) or we will have a reaction in the other direction- deportations and placing the military on the border.
This problem will not continue as it is currently. If wholesale amnesty (as Obama and the liberals want) occurs, there will be further MASSIVE waves of illegals and our nation will cease to exist as we know it. Such extreme situations create extreme responses, which is the last thing that the nation wants or needs.
Defend the border, deport the illegals, and enforce existing laws.
Take away welfare a.k.a. government cheese and the problem fixes itself with no need for even more expensive boondoggles such as great walls or tax eating soldiers.
Been saying this all along. Cut the amnesty crap! Cut the benefits, and they'll lose the incentive of coming here for a free ride, and may actually work to fix their own country. I don't think we need to start a war with Mexico there are other ways to stop their people from coming here illegally. And by the way, no one has the right to come here illegally to look for better opportunities. If you think so then you haven't really assimilated into our country.
No one is saying that Mexicans are terrorists but potential ones from other countries are slipping into our country right along with the illegal Mexicans. The FBI Director has stated as such.
