Obama is not deporting more illegals -- they now count those who come up to the border, stop and turn around as "deportations". Obama doesn't want them stopped, he is completely against having immigration laws at all -- and he wants ALL illegals made legal.

Guess you missed this -- in El Fuhrer's own words:

Interview of President Barack Obama at

Obama: Well, the main step I’m trying to take is to make sure that we pass new laws so that we do not have to deport these folks at all. But in fact they can have a path to living here legally, and ultimately becoming citizens. You know, keep in mind that most of these deportations are actually at the border. So it’s people who are just being stopped. The reason that the numbers are high is because Congress doubled the number of ICE agents and custom border patrol. It’s not because this is something that I think is necessarily a kind thing or a helpful thing for many of these families. And that’s why I, knowing how painful it is for many people, want to make sure that we get comprehensive immigration reform done. We’ve gotten a bill passed through the Senate. The next step now is we got to get something through the House. And I know a lot of people sometimes say, well Obama could just do this without Congress. The problem is, is that there’s certain laws that I end up having to deal with coming out of Congress. I need a new law that puts everybody on a new legal footing. And we’ve got to keep the pressure on Congress to get that done.

You can cloak it in any language you want but the bottom line is no amnesty. Especially now that there is a mad dash to come north.

That alone sunk Cantor's reelection bid. By a huge margin. Why do you think that shook D.C? Notice no one now is talking amnesty. At least for the foreseeable future.

Proof positive that the politicians are completely disconnected from their constituents.
The data proves you wrong.

Again, all this talk of amnesty. Do you even have a slight grasp of what the word amnesty even means?

IOW lets reward illegal behavior. I guess Obama has no problem with that as evidenced by his ignoring black letter law and the Constitution.

Also, Zuckerberg hired a polling firm to conduct the poll. Unless you can actually prove the data is incorrect, you don't have a point considering other polls done by reputable polling firms are saying the same thing.
What firm? What did the poll say? What were the questions?

Anyhow you contradict yourself -- why would you liberals be such bootlickers of Obama if you really thought he was enforcing immigraton laws if you think all the Americans unemployed and otherwise want all this unlimited cheap labor to be allowed to come over as they please?

You'd oppose Obama if you really thought he was enforcing the laws.

Of course his goal is immigration reform.

That's some fine work there Sherlock. You uncovered Obama's plan, which he's been publicly talking about for years.

Oh, yeah and the data also proves that deportations are higher now than when Bush was president.

No, they're not. Obama is counting turning people away at the border as "deportations." They're not. They're simply refusing entrance.

Let's work on deporting the 11 million (probably much higher) illegal aliens. If I break a federal law, I get arrested and tried. When illegals are caught, deport them. No trial necessary. They're in our country illegally.

If Obama is going to look the other way at the 11 million illegals in our country, I want the same right to have the federal government look the other way when I refuse to pay my federal income tax. Equal protection and all that.

Cantor did not lose over a single issue, immigration.

The people who said they voted for Brat, claimed that Cantor lost because the house under his leadership is weak, timid, and not fulfilling the promises they made when the people elected them. They said Cantor was increasingly aloof, and seemed to view his K Street lobbyists and the US Chamber of Commerce as his constituents, and not the people in his congressional district who voted for him.

I guess you would have to actually ask those who voted against Cantor then why they did so. It doesn't matter what you think, what matters is why those voters voted the way they did. Very very doubtful you were one of the voters who got Cantor defeated by voting for his opponent.
